Single Jackleg Drilling

Singles Jackleg Drilling is fastest time to drill 2 holes approximately 2 feet deep, one on each side of the rock.  There are squares or circles that the hole must be drilled in. If holes are outside of the square or drill into another hole it is a disqualification.  Competitors start 15 feet from the rock with the steel out of the drill. Time starts when told “go”.  Steel is put in drill and carried to rock.  Drill first hole the move to other side and drill second hole, then drill is carried back to start line where steel must be removed and drill set on ground, that is when time stops.
